Lifetime’s Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal is surprisingly satisfying

Good news comes to the royal fans who wait. Those who are obsessed with Harry and Meghan’s love story were in for a treat last Monday. The sequel to lifetime’s romantic drama about the prince and the duchess aired and the TV movie was a hit.

The first Lifetime film, Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, was about how the royal couple met and fell in love. This time, it’s all about the story behind their decision to wed in the sequel Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal.

The lead actors were recast and Tiffany Smith who plays Meghan is equally captivating as the Duchess. Alongside her was leading man Charlie Field who played Harry in the movie. The two had undeniable chemistry and with performances that are truly moving.

The film is all about the royal wedding and is based on Meghan Markle’s heavily publicized family drama. It tackles the salacious rumors that surrounded the Markle family especially involving Meghan’s dad Thomas Markle.

We may not what really went down during this time in the Duchess’ life, but at least Lifetime makes an effort to paint us a picture. Much like the first movie about the royal couple, most of what happens in the film is pure fiction. It’s not a documentary after all. Still, the surprisingly satisfying movie was enough for royal fans.

Other familiar royal figures were also portrayed in the Lifetime movie. This includes Laura Mitchell as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge or better known to us as Kate Middleton. Prince William, on the other hand, is played by Jordan Whalen.

If you missed it, you’ll have to wait until lifetime somehow puts the movie up for online streaming.

Rapper Iggy Azalea goes on social media shut down after leaked topless photos

Everyone needs time away from the internet. Some in more need than most. In the case of rapper Iggy Azalea, deactivating her Instagram and Twitter accounts might be the best move. Her social media was intentionally taken down back May 27 after nude photos of her were leaked online.

The 28-year-old rapper did not make any comment or mention about the topless pictures that surfaced online May 26, Sunday. She neither confirmed nor denied if the nude shots belonged to her prior to deactivating her social media pages.

The images in question seem to be from an old photoshoot for GQ Australia taken by celebrity photographer Nino Munoz.

Censored versions of the photos are still posted on the magazine’s website. According to US Magazine, the backstory of the photos explained that the pictures were given as a gift to Azalea’s plastic surgeon Dr. Ashkan Ghavami by the rapper herself for his birthday. Dr. Ghavami performed breast augmentation surgery on the Azalea.

The year of her surgery, Azalea even thanked the surgeon in a birthday greeting she posted on Instagram. The rapper wrote: “Happy birthday @DrGhavami. It might seem obvious I’d hold the man I owe my fabulous nose and breasts to in high regard,” The greeting was posted along with a photo of the two together.

Azalea is not one to shy away from admitting that she’s had work done. She even addressed her breast enhancement surgery in an interview with Vogue magazine back in 2015. The rapper seemed to be ecstatic about having bigger boobs when she was asked if she would consider going under the knife.

Azalea has since reacted to the photo leak. “There was no reason for anyone to have kept the outtakes from the shoot. I’m surprised and angry that they were not immediately deleted after the final images were selected,” the rapper said.

She was all smiles and while she showed off her baby bump in an effortless gray shirt. Lively is known for her fabulous outfits but kept her entire look low key during the visit. She was seen sporting jeans, a black sun hat with her hair pulled back in a sleek bun.

Reynolds was filming his new movie Free Guy in the city of Boston. Their adorable daughters James, 4, and Inez, 3, crashed the set to spend time with their daddy.

The lovely couple is expecting their 3rd child. Blake was first seen with her baby bump at the premiere of Pokemon Detective Pikachu back on May 2. Reynolds voiced the beloved and absolutely adorable Pikachu in the film.

Lively seemed to be paying homage to the cute character with the gorgeous sunburst yellow dress she wore at the premiere. This came as a wonderful surprise for the couple’s fans as none of them announced that they were expecting prior to Lively’s appearance.

Although it may be surprising, it isn’t at all hard to imagine that their family continues to grow.Lively and Reynold’s beautiful marriage is one that everyone hopes to have one day so another cute baby is something their fans look forward to.

Other details about Lively’s pregnancy are kept under the wraps but it looks like we could be seeing another adorable toddler really soon. For now, we can only wait to see photos of their soon-to-be family of five.

Big Bang Theory’s Jhonny Galecki celebrates gender reveal of his baby with Alaina Meyer

Johnny Galecki, 44, is known for his role as Leonard Hofstadter in the hit comedy sitcom the Big Bang Theory. The CBS show wrapped up its 12th season last May 16 giving ample time for Galecki to be ready for his new real-life role as a father.

The actor is having a baby boy with his 21-year-old girlfriend, Alaina Meyer. They announced the big news last May 3. How else but through Instagram. The pair wrote “We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we will soon be welcoming a little one into this crazy and wonderful world. “ The announcement came with a photo of the couple in a tight embrace.

The couple held a gender reveal party where it was announced that they’re expecting a beautiful baby boy. The couple took to social media to post photos of the unforgettable event.

The outdoor party was lined with pink and blue decor along with treats and a lot of blue paint. In photos, we see the couple smothered with splashes of paint while in their overalls.

Galecki and Meyers celebrated with a smooch while they were still smeared in the blue paint. Meyers uploaded photos of them on her Instagram stories, captioning one photo “To all those who voted boy you were right!”

Although earlier this month the sitcom actor admitted that he was hoping a girl, he wasn’t at all disappointed. Galecki wrote “A day I’ll never forget.” along with the photo of the parents-to-be sharing a sweet smooch after the exciting reveal.

Auckland Comanchero gang members denied bail over drugs and weapons charges

Two motorcycle gang members from the New Zealand chapter of the Comancheros have had their application of electronically-monitored bail rejected by Auckland’s district court.

The two men, Pasilika Naufahu (suspected leader of the New Zealand branch of the international gang) and co-accused, Connor Michael Tamati Clausen, stood in court together as Judge Barbara Morris declined their bail application.

For legal reasons, her legal argumentation can’t be revealed to the media.

Naufahu is facing two counts of unlawfully owning firearms and three counts of money laundering. He is also charged with conspiring to sell methamphetamine, sell class B drugs and participate in the activities of organised crime.

Clausen faces four counts of unlawfully owning firearms and one count of conspiracy to sell class B drugs.

Both men have appeared in court before with Tyson Daniels and Jarome Fonua where their solicitor said that all four men would plead not guilty and ask for a jury trial. Daniels and Fonua have since been released on bail.

The men will return to court on July 3 for a case review.

They were originally arrested in a large-scale police raid last month that seized almost $4 million NZD in assets.

2019 federal election results: Labor claims victory in Lilley

First-time federal candidate, Anika Wells, secured the seat of Lilley for Labor with a 901 vote lead against Brad Carswell.

Prior to this win, the odds have not been on Labor’s side as they were only able to retain five seats in Queensland.

Retaining the seat of Lilley was their best chance at putting a halt to their dwindling number of Queensland seats. Failure to retain the seat would mean they don’t retain any seats north of the Brisbane River.

With Wells’ narrow victory, the party was able to win six out of the 30 Queensland seats.

The seat of Lilley was held by the former prime minister and treasurer, Wayne Swan since 1988. Prior to that, Swan has also had a term from 1993-1996

Lilley’s 142-square-kilometer electorate spans from the north’s bayside Brighton up to the east’s Brisbane Airport. This follows the south’s Brisbane river.

Anika Wells thanked voters for the support as she waved at drivers during rush hour on Sandgate Road this morning.

The former lawyer’s campaign focused on securing funds for local medical facilities and educational institutions. Aside from that, Wells is also an advocate for taking action against the threats of climate change. Something the locals found

As someone who was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease while she was pregnant, Wells experienced the shortcomings of public healthcare first-hand. The experience prompted her to advocate for a proper healthcare system.

Locals are now waiting for the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) to officiate the declaration of Labor’s victory.

Despite Brad Carswell’s loss in Lilley, LNP has managed to retain the marginal seats of Petrie and Dickson.

“While my youngest daughter started reading at age three, she never really enjoyed it. She preferred audio books and buddy reading. While she excelled at superficial reading age tests and eye examines, we never really understood why she was a reluctant reader. Her teacher at Moerlina encouraged us to keep looking for a solution but we were hesitant to spend more money on optometrists who insisted that there was no problem with her vision.

That was until we met JP Guillon at Eye 5 Optometrists…After a detailed eye examination, JP recommended glasses to realign her eyes and reduce eye strain. JP predicted that with her new glasses, Inde would be reading spontaneously and joyously by the end of summer (a period of less than three months). While we were optimistic, we were genuinely surprised by her progress. Previously she would read 2-3 pages a night before fatiguing. Reading every night was a chore, certainly not a pleasure. By the end of summer, she had devoured the Carol Wilkinson Dragon Keeper trilogy! This term, she has enthusiastically looked forward to a weekly visit to the library to stock up on books. Her confidence at school has improved significantly. She no longer judges a book by its size and word length. Her favourite author is Michael Morporgo and her favourite genre is historical fiction. Reading is now one of her favourite leisure activities! We have been delighted with JP’s expertise and advice.” – Josephine Muir

Explosions in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu kills 4 and injures 7

Three separate explosions disrupted the peace in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu, killing at least four and leaving 7 others injured according to police sources.

The deadly blasts went off last Sunday as panic ensued. According to authorities, two explosions took place in the capital’s center while the other two on the outskirts.

Police claim that crude or improvised explosives triggered the blasts.

An official suspects that a Maoist splinter group was responsible for the explosions after their flyers were found near the area. The group held a nationwide strike in protest of their cadre’s death after a police encounter that happened over a week before. The incidents came on the eve of the protest.

Police implicated the same group in another Kathmandu explosion that killed one civilian last February.

According to police officer Shyam Lal Gyawali, three of the victims died “on the spot” while the fourth died at the hospital while undergoing medical treatment.

The initial explosion killed one person in the Ghattekulo residential area. Three other people were killed in the second blast that happened in the Sukedhara area. The third blast injured two more people in the Thankot area of the capital. All of the seven injured were hospitalized.

17-year-old student Govinda Bhandari told Reuters news agency in an interview: “I heard a big noise and rushed to the spot to find the walls of a house had developed cracks due to the impact of the blast.”

Security forces have restricted the blast locations while investigations are currently ongoing. The government banned activities of the suspected Maoist splinter group as they were outlawed following the deadly incident.
