Red Stone Pizzeria & Bagelry Cafe
Red Stone Pizzeria & Bagelry Cafe – Red Stone Pizza, Ciabatta, Focaccia, Bagels & Manoushi are made from only the finest Italian flour. Their Pizza dough is long cold-fermented (72 hours) with their own unique Biga starter culture. Pizza is then hand-stretched, air-tossed & flash cooked on refractory stone at Ultra High Temps. The result is Authentic Black Leopard-spotted Neapolitan Pizza Pies.
Their attention to detail is evident in their toppings. Red Pepper & Eggplant are char-grilled & marinated in-house, and their elected small-goods of choice are sourced from a local Italian manufacturer.
They serve the Artisan fare that people would expect, but does not necessarily accompany, the slick decor, wine list and hefty bill of some high end establishments. Their focus is squarely on the food. They do provide friendly BYO service in a colourful, unpretentious and relaxed environment. Seating is available both inside and out, alongside their provision of quality food delivered to customer’s door.
Red Stone is about old world process. They don’t believe in shortcuts; their Bagels are kettle-boiled, hand-rolled and joined without the help of dough forming machines. Pizzeria 1760 is an independently owned pizzeria situated in Yeronga, a leafy riverside suburb located within inner-city Brisbane. They are famous for their pizzas and their creations pay homage to authentic Neapolitan pizzas from the days of old. In fact, the “1760” part of their name is a tribute to the year when the first commercial restaurant, using a wood fired oven, opened in Naples.
They love food and they believe the key is in creating dishes from fresh house-made ingredients.
