Pepe’s Newmarket Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar have been serving quality Mexican food since opening Brisbanes first Mexican restaurant at Milton in 1972.

They believe in serving quality food that not only tastes great but is good for customers, too. Using the finest ingredients, such as the best quality vegetables and premium lean meats, chicken and seafood. They use cholesterol-free pure canola oil. They never use chemical additives or MSG in their food because they care about the health of the all the customers and their families.

At Pepe’s, they cater for gluten free and vegan customers.  Many of their meals are corn based as opposed to flour, so their gluten free customers can enjoy meals such as: Enchiladas, Nachos and Tacos.  Additionally, the restaurant offers a gluten free wrap which provides further options for their gluten free customers with meals such as: Burritos, Fajitas and Tostadas. All of their sauces and Guacamole are prepared on site and do not contain dairy, flour or thickeners.

El Torito Mexican Restaurant is a family owned business, established in July 1996 by Jorge and Doris Perez. From the very beginning, Jorge and Doris dedicated themselves to introducing the authentic and unique flavours of Mexico to Brisbane. What started off as a small take-away diner was soon transformed into a well known restaurant. And, over the 14 years of business, new and exciting dishes and flavours have been added into their menu that consists of a great variety of home-made cuisine.

Their mission at El Torito Restaurant is to maintain excellent food quality by using fresh ingredients and to continue introducing the rustic and authentic flavours of Mexico to the public.
