“We wanted somewhere nice to catch up with friends from the Sunny Coast. Couldn’t have picked a better venue. Great food and plenty of it for a very reasonable price. The share platter for one fed two very hungry people comfortably. The Manager was great! Very very nice. We have been before and will definitely be back again.” – Marian Davis
Bavarian Haus Restaurant
Bavarian Haus Restaurant – Customers can immerse themselves in a German experience at the Bavarian Haus. They can enjoy a cold stein of German beer, gorge on their famous pork knuckle or simply take in the pure nostalgia of their historic German memorabilia.
Since 1975, they have stood their ground in the heart of the bustling Surfers Paradise precinct, earning them the title of the ‘longest continuous standing restaurant on the Gold Coast’. They house three levels of dining, Edelweiss, Alpen & Keller.

If customers are not a beer fan, they have got their back with their extensive range of non-alcoholic options, wines, spirits or customers can treat themselves to one of their German inspired cocktails.

“I love the German Club and you don’t even have to speak the language. The food is very good German fare with a touch of Queensland favourites as well. The beer is authentic and mostly on tap. The dance floor is shining and the live music is good. Some days it seems to be more German songs and other nights a mix of English / Australian favourites. The service is excellent and the staff very accommodating and helpful.” – Esta Mostert
