Wonder Woman 1984 trailer set for December release

According to director Patty Jenkins, the trailer of anticipated flick Wonder Woman 1984 will likely arrive this December.

The director teased on Twitter that the campaign for the Wonder Woman sequel will fully launch in December this year. In the Tweet Jenkins wrote:

“By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full– But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait…”

The Tweet featured a photo of Gal Gadot reprising her role as Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman. It looks like the DC hero’s iconic costume got a makeover as she donned a golden armor in the teaser photo.

The superhero made her debut in the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. She then became one of the leading heroes in 2017’s Justice League. After that, the sequel comes after the success of Wonder Woman, her first stand-alone film. Wonder Woman’s appearance in the DCU was a hit among fans. The solo effort went on to become the highest-grossing in the DC franchise until Aquaman surpassed its blockbuster record.

Now fans have more reasons to be excited for the sequel to see the team-up of Jenkins and Gadot, the return of Chris Pine as Steve Trevor and more. Comedienne and actress Kristen Wiig will be introduced as Cheetah and Pedro Pascal is set for a big role as well.
