Captain America’s Chris Evans is a certified Rick and Morty fan

That’s right, the man himself, Captain America is a fan of Adult Swim’s animated hit series Rick and Morty. But honestly, who isn’t?

The acclaimed animated adult sitcom, Rick and Morty, has gained notoriety for its unique brand of dark sci-fi humor. Show creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon debuted the show back in 2013 on Adult Swim. Since its airing, the series quickly earned a cult following. Now, the show has surpassed its cult status reaching general adult audiences all over the world.

One of the show’s celebrity fans is none other than Captain America himself, Chris Evans. The 37-year-old actor shared his thoughts about the sci-fi comedy saying that there’s nothing like it. Evans wrote:

“There isn’t another show on television like @RickandMorty. It’s a true original. And it’s awesome.”

Aside from this endearing Tweet, Evans is also making rounds on Twitter for his humor. One of his viral Tweets featured a headshot of him during his early acting years.

In 2017, the third season of Rick and Morty aired and by that time, the show was a full-fledged hit. The show even won the Emmy award for best animated series. After reaching epic heights, it seemed that the show was in trouble of not getting renewed. Reports have even surfaced that the show would potentially be cancelled.

Fans of the show were able to breathe easy when news of the show’s renewal was announced in May 2018. The fourth season of the installment is now set to premiere on Adult Swim November this year.
