In 2017, they opened their Brisbane store in a beautiful little building on James St. in New Farm. The locals informed them that many years ago it was a milk bar where they would buy lollies after school. They don’t stock lollies because they would just eat them all, but they do stock lots of sweet stationery treats.

The Paper Empire’s owner, creative director and Chief Executive Paper Obsessive is Emily Anthon. Emily has been hoarding pretty stationery in boxes under her bed since she was a small child. She was joined by an amazing team of paper lovers and talented designers.
