Salisbury Community Sports Club ā€“ The Salisbury Bowls Club Inc. has been at its present location since 1976 when it was relocated from a site some 2km away. It was then known as the EDCO Bowls Club, this name having come from the Evans Deakin company who had given their employees permission to use company land to start a bowling club in 1942.

Since then the club has changed its name to Salisbury Community Sport Club and has become a big part of the community, hosting events such as the Maggie Markets, family fun days and many fundraisers.

Commercial Rowing Club is a large and friendly rowing club on the Brisbane River in inner city West End, Brisbane. They enjoy rowing on a wide stretch of water and can row for more than 20 klm without interruption.

They cater for both the competitive and social rower, as well as offering learn to row programs for adults. They are always keen to welcome back rowers who may have taken a break from the sport for many months or even years.
