Robert Pattinson raves about Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman casting

Robert Pattinson is all about Zoe Kravitz playing Catwoman in “The Batman”.

Pattinson recently sat down for an interview during the press day of his new film The “Lighthouse”. During the conference, the actor shared his thoughts on Kravitz’s casting and let’s just say he’s pretty ecstatic about it. The upcoming comic book film will see Pattinson take on the role of Bruce Wayne.k.a. Batman.

When asked about if Kravitz has the chops to be the next feline femme fatale he answered:

“Yes! Zoe’s great and I’ve known her for years and years and years. I mean, I’ve been friends with her for like ten years and she’s brilliant.”

News of Kravitz’s casting was confirmed last week, Monday by Warner Bros. Just days after the exciting news broke, Entertainment Tonight confirmed that actor Paul Dano will be playing Riddler in the forthcoming movie. Director Matt Reeves has yet to finalize the cast for “The Batman” as the role of Penguin still hasn’t been filled.

While the movie will be Pattinson and Kravitz’s first time to share the silver screen. However, this won’t be the first time that the pair are tied in the same cinematic universe. Both actors played roles in Harry Potter’s wizarding world. According to IMDB Pattinson made his first feature film debut in Harry Potter and the “Goblet of Fire” (2005) as Cedric Diggory. Kravitz, on the other hand, plays Leta Lestrange in the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” movie series. Finally, we’ll be seeing them join forces on the big screen.
