Leanne Orr completed her Celebrant training in May 2005 and was registered and appointed by the Attorney-General’s Department in Canberra in September 2007 after having to wait to be appointed, as she was in the middle of the 5-year capping period which had been introduced on Celebrants when they would only allow so many Celebrants to be appointed in each State per year.
In December 2010 Leanne decided to study for “Certificate IV in Celebrancy” which is the new mandatory requirement qualification to become a Marriage Celebrant, just so she had that certificate also. Leanne is also a member of the Australian FederatIon of Civil Celebrants (AFCC).
