Khloe Kardashian has been blindsided by the statements made by Caitlyn Jenner about them not talking for half a decade after her transition.
Caitlyn stated before the reality show started that she would not talk about her famous family that much, stating that she would like to avoid talking about her famous clan as little as possible, or not at all due to ‘legal reasons’.
The reality television actress has seen the clip of Caitlyn talking about their relationship and was apparently hurt by the way her-step father talked about her on the show. The reality television actress has also expressed that she was unaware of any beef between the two of them.
TMZ reported that a representative of Khloe stated that the reality star disputed the thought of the two are still at odds with each other and was completely supportive of Caitlyn’s transition, and things went south only after Caitlyn threw shade at Kris Jenner after the release of her memoir.
Khloe then posted a quote on her Instagram stating that one of the greatest advantages of telling the truth is that one does not have to remember it. She did not tag her stepfather but one can assume that this was aimed at Caitlyn nevertheless.
Among the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, it was apparent that Khloe was the one who was affected the most, stating in their reality telling Caitlyn that losing her second father was a huge blow for her. Caitlyn also shared in the I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! show that all of her other children were very supportive and accepting of her coming out as a transgender woman. She went on to say that she first told his son Brandon and was nothing but supportive to her.
Khloe has said that things have been improving between the two of them. She was present when Caitlyn accepted her ESPY award back in 2016. It was also reported that they have been amicable during family gatherings, recently during Caitlyn’s 70th birthday celebration.
It would seem that this chapter of the Kardashian-Jenner drama has yet to reach a tangible conclusion given that Caitlyn is still stuck in the middle of nowhere on a reality television show and a face to face between father and daughter are still not on the docket. Once they talk and try to iron things out, (on network reality television of course) it will surely be a popcorn moment for the hundreds and thousands of people who follow the celebrity family.
