Google photo apps that will help you make great memories

Google has recently launched three new photography apps. Google photo apps are a part of Google’s new program called “appsperiments”. This program is focused on mobile photography and aims to make it more usable and useful.

The new apps are all about having fun, and they rely on object recognition, different stylisation algorithms, and person segmentation, allowing you to produce quality and interesting photo content.

The latest launch includes three new photo apps: Selfissimo!, Storyboard and Scrubbies.

Snap cool black and white selfies with Selfissimo!

Selfissimo! app is available for both Android and iOS users. It’s a selfie-focused app which works as your automated selfie photographer. It snaps unique and stylish photos each time you make a pose. This app is based on an idea to move around and switch poses while it snaps a photo every time you stop moving.

Photos made with Selfissimo! are in a black and white tone and you can start your photo shoot by simply tapping the screen. To end the session, you can simply tap the screen and review your photos. You will also have an option to save individual images or even the entire shoot.

Storyboard transforms your videos into awesome comic layouts

Storyboard is a cool Android app which allows you to transform videos into comic layouts. It converts your videos to single-page layouts entirely on the device.

The process is quite simple – you make a video and load it into the app. Storyboard will automatically select the most interesting video frames and apply a visual style.

This app comes with six visual styles and a wide range of possibilities – over 1.6 trillion different outcomes. Your comic can easily be saved or, if unsatisfied with the outcome, you can simply pull down to refresh your feed and instantly start working on the new content.

Create fun video loops with Scrubbies

Scrubbies app was developed for iOS users and it promises a lot of fun and exciting content. This app allows users to easily manipulate the direction and speed of a video.

By doing this, users can produce video loops, highlight a certain action or replay funny moments. You film a video in the app and edit it by scratching your screen.

To play the video, you need to scrub with one finger and to capture the playback, simply scrub with two fingers. After you playback is captured, you can save it or even share it.

These cool apps are available for download, and just in time for the holiday season. Try them out to create memorable and funny content with your friends and family.

As Google announced them as the first wave of the new “appsperiment” program, we will likely see more interesting and innovative apps in the future.
