Starward David Vitale, their founder, started off with a simple vision; create a uniquely Australian whisky they can offer the world with pride. Born and bred in Melbourne, he was inspired to create a spirit that reflects his home town – from its culture to it’s famed ‘four seasons in a day’ temperature swings. It is a city surrounded by some of Australia’s leading wine regions – all within a day’s drive – and is regarded as the micro brewing capital of Australia.

“Great place to have some exclusive whiskeys and cocktails! Best part is you can get food from outside and enjoy with warm winter collection ‘Toddy’.” -Chaksu Datta
Little Lon Distilling Co
Little Lon Distilling Co this once ‘notorious’ north-east corner of Melbourne, was a sight to behold in the 1850s. Its colourful past -specifically, a deep shade of harlot red- made it a magnet for the debauched, where wanton wenches and liquored-up larrikins lurched down its lamp-lit lanes. Fast forward 141 years, and here they are. Little Lon Distilling Co. A gintrified establishment commemorating the rich history of Little Lon with a range of characterful, small batch gins that raise a tipple to the delightful deviates that once trod these lurid laneways.
Constable Proudfoot Gin, Miss Yoko Gin, Ginger Mick Gin, Premium Gin Masterclass & Tasting Experience.
“Wonderful boutique and intimate Masterclass! An incredible distillery in the hidden heart of the CBD and passionately hosted. You won’t regret if you love gin.” -Tina Champman
Brogan’s Way from idea to reality was almost three years. Frustratingly long, but blindingly quick. How did it come about? They remember, it was cold July evening after a family dinner when the conversation drifted from the usual daily stuff and soon they were talking about the best jobs one could do. This was the moment the decision was taken to start a gin distillery. From that moment it was no longer the dream but a mission.

“Great drinks, great service. We bought a tasting paddle and had had a chat with a bartender who gave us a talk about each gin and each tonic. Very reasonably priced tasting as well. And again, great service” -Callum Mayhook
