While most singles are desperately swiping right on Tinder to get dates, Diane Keaton is pretty happy about not going on one for the past 35 years.

The actress got very candid about her love life for a feature with InStyle. Keaton, best known for her role in The Godfather trilogy, admitted she is out of the dating game.

“Never. All right?” Keaton answered, laughing after being asked if she’d been asked out on dates. “Let’s just get that straight. That one’s important. I haven’t been on a date in, I would say, 35 years.”

“No dates,” the actress added.

And it seems like Keaton doesn’t want to be asked out anyway. We stan an independent queen. When asked if she wanted to go on dates she replied, “I have a lot of male friends. I have a lot of friends, but no dates. No mwah-mwah.”

Back in May, the actress told People on her disdain about being a wife. “I think that I’m strange,” she shared. “I don’t know anything, and I haven’t learned. Getting older hasn’t made me wiser.”

Keaton reflected on marriage or the lack of it in her life. She said, “Today I was thinking about this. I’m 73 and I think I’m the only one in my generation and maybe before who has been a single woman all her life.”

The actress had pretty high profile relationships in the past. Notably with Al Pacino, Warren Beatty, and the controversial Woody Allen. Keaton is not at all sad about her status in life.

“[I’m not sad] because I think that I needed more of a maternal aspect. I don’t think it would have been a good idea for me to have married, and I’m really glad I didn’t, and I’m sure they’re happy about it, too.”
