Anthony Eaton Urology
Dr Anthony Eaton is a urological surgeon with special interests in the management of prostate cancer, laparoscopic nephrectomy and urinary incontinence.
Dr Eaton graduated from the University of Tasmania’s School of Medicine in 1992. In 1998 he completed a year of post-graduate accredited general surgery training before undertaking four years of specialist training in urology in NSW and Victoria with the Australasian College of Surgeons.
He returned to Hobart in 2003 and has since undertaken further training and study in low-dose brachytherapy, green-light laser prostatectomy, laparoscopic surgery and sacral nerve stimulation. Dr Eaton has a commitment to education and regularly mentors undergraduate medical students. He is also involved in several research projects involving prostate cancer. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand.

Urology Hobart
Dr Raj Gogia was born and raised in Adelaide and completed his schooling at Prince Alfred College. After graduating from medicine in Adelaide he commenced postgraduate training in General surgery. Following this he embarked on advanced training in Urological surgery, spending the first year at the Royal Hobart Hospital prior to returning to Adelaide where he completed his training, spending a year at each of the major teaching hospitals and gaining extensive experience in the management of adult urological conditions.
Having completed his formal surgical training, he then undertook a further twelve month sub-specialty fellowship in Urological Oncology at the Sydney Prostate Cancer Centre. Here he gained expertise in both the surgical and non-surgical management of prostate cancer and other urological malignancies. This included the latest techniques in radical prostatectomy, Low Dose Rate (LDR) and High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy, High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and Cryotherapy. Whilst in Sydney he maintained strong academic links as Lecturer in Surgery at the University of New South Wales.
Dr Raj is the surgical representative on the Prostate TAS working group at the Cancer Council of Tasmania and is actively involved in raising the awareness of men’s health issues.

Dr Frank Redwig is a urological surgeon graduated from the University of Muenster in Germany in 1999 and was then awarded Doctor of Medicine in 2002. In 2004 he finished his postgraduate specialist training in urology at the Klinikum Dortmund, Germany.
Dr Redwig and his wife moved to Tasmania in February 2005 and they now have 4 lovely boys who call Hobart home. Since moving he has been working as a consultant in the Department of Urology at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
In 2007 he obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and started a private practice.
Dr Redwig is a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ), German Urological Society (DGU), and European Association of Urology (EAU) and served as the elected Tasmanian Representative Director on the Board of Directors of USANZ from 2015-2018.
