Alpha Restaurant

Alpha Restaurant – Greek cooking has always been synonymous with generosity, hospitality and shared feasts, which is what Alpha Restaurant is all about.

Their menu, by acclaimed chef Peter Conistis, nods to both traditional and contemporary Greek cooking. Here you’ll find touches of the culinary creativity for which he is renowned together with a host of rustic, seasonal dishes, many of which are cooked in their wood-fired oven.

The restaurant occupies a historic Victorian building in the heart of the CBD, which is also home to the Hellenic Club. The club’s Elizabeth Street venue opened in the late 1950s as a meeting place for migrants, shopkeepers and businesses and a centre of Greek culture.
