Clementineā€™s

Best Gift Shops in Melbourne
Clementineā€™s

Clementineā€™s ā€“ As a frequent visitor to Victoriaā€™s farm gates, markets and small country produce stores she was well aware of the quality, creativity, and deliciousness available to us all if we were prepared to look. Accessibility in the city was a problem though as there was a very little outlet for these small producers and anyway, they were too busy harvesting, farming and all too often dealing with natureā€™s idiosyncratic moods from season to season to worry about marketing their products to the city. So a seasonal country trip was always required to purchase favorite foodstuffs.

Ambiance

Ambiance ā€“ is a family business, run by two sisters, Connie and Mel, and commenced trading at 509 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, in August 1997. Since then, it has gradually evolved into the extensive store that it is today. They always felt that Melbourne was in need of a Gift Shop that was different from all of the others ā€“ full of the ā€˜uniqueā€™ and the ā€˜unusualā€™. Also, they realized there was a lack of Christmas decorations that are truly ā€˜rareā€™ and could become family heirlooms. Ambiance now has one of the largest ranges of Christmas ornaments and decorations from all over the world.

Review:

ā€œGreat place for all your Christmas decoration needs. All colour coded for those who like their own homes at Christmas to be just so. Though I would not recommend bringing a pram or wheelchair in as it is so jam-packed with Christmas goodies that at times walking around is a challengeā€¦ still well worth the visit if youā€™re at the Vic Marketā€¦ even if you are just browsing.ā€- Belinda Irving
