The Gresham Bar
The Gresham Bar – With the only heritage Bar License in Queensland, The Gresham is steeped in rich history and has maintained the building’s original character and architecture.
The Gresham offers some of the highest calibre rum, whiskey and wine in the country, and the extensive and artistic cocktail list are only able to be crafted by the best bartenders in the industry. Opened in late 2013, The Gresham is a unique space, with a nod to the heritage aspect of the building evident via our service and unique drinks offering. The Gresham has a progressive approach to music and drinks, and they have an attitude policy not a dress policy. They welcome people regardless of what they are wearing and it makes for a more interesting clientele and dynamic within The Gresham.
The Gresham is a bar that people can use however they want to use it, not in a way prescribed to them. The Gresham isn’t a specific whiskey or rum or cocktail or wine bar – but it does have all of the best on offer.

“I’m a little angry at myself for not reviewing this, the best bar in Brisbane, sooner. Not because my opinion carries more weight than the next person, but because in our city it is rare to find this kind of comprehensive selection of just about everything. It’s rarer still to find that in gorgeous heritage surroundings that are comfortable and utterly unpretentious. There’s little heritage architecture left in the CBD and the Gresham gives us access to that and just happens to be world class.” – Tim Jay
Super Whatnot – A laneway bar in Brisbane’s CBD specialising in good beer, interesting wines and well made cocktails. They have tasty morsels of food to make your tummy smile, and DJs playing records on turntables to make your feet tap. They offer an aesthetically pleasing environment that is available for exclusive use, private functions and corporate events. Whatever the reason, they will do their best to ensure you enjoy your time at Super Whatnot.

Bands of all genres rock the house down nightly with Funk, Rock and Roll, Mariachi, Rockabilly, RnB and everything in between. The delicious American-inspired food menu will have everyone’s taste buds dancing, too.
