Waverley Antique Bazaar

Waverley Antique BazaarĀ was founded in 2011 by Geoff Armstrong & Barbara White. Geoff was certainly not a stranger to the antique world, having previously started highly successful antique centers in Mornington and Tyabb. Waverley began after the National Antique Centre in Mornington was closed ā€“ Geoffā€™s stallholders had nowhere to go, and so it was suggested that another centre be opened. Waverley Antique Bazaar was the result! Many stallholders and customers will remember Geoff as a constant presence in the centre (as well as a mad Collingwood supporter!), and he and Barbara developed the business into a bustling marketplace.

Review:

ā€œWhat a fun place to go! Huge! Allow a good few hours to poke around. Everything seemed fairly priced. Predominantly vintage, retro 70ā€™s but a great & varied selection. They even have plants! If itā€™s a cold Melbourne day be sure to wrap up warm to make the experience more enjoyable. On arrival go down the side street to the entrance, we almost drove off thinking it was closed. Really glad we didnā€™t! Hope you enjoy it.ā€- Louise Rutten

Review:

ā€œBloody brilliant place!!!. You can literally spend hours here. Some stallholders are dreaming with their way overpriced junk when you can get them heaps cheaper elsewhere. But you can also get some very good deals here too. Iā€™ve picked up some very good deals myself. Itā€™s an amazing place and always worth a visit to fill in your weekend.ā€- Paul Oā€™Connor

Review:

ā€œIā€™ve always had friendly service here. If you are referring to a previous repair, itā€™s a good idea to take your receipt, as otherwise, itā€™s a bit of a process looking through the receipt book for old records. I wish I had a bigger budget to purchase some of their beautiful rings.ā€- Kathy McNeil
