5G is Samsung’s new and now with the Galaxy A90 5G

Samsung wants to make the fifth-gen mobile network affordable and accessible to the public with its Galaxy A90 5G smartphone.

The new phone is one of the tech brand’s cheapest to hit the market. The Galaxy A90 5G will reportedly come with a price tag of EUR749 or about AUD1,207. This makes it around AUD731 less than Samsung’s other phones carrying the 5G network.

So what can you expect from the latest smartphone in the Galaxy line? According to CNET, the device is measured at 6.7 inches and includes three rear cameras. It boasts a 48-megapixel lens and 32-megapixels for one front camera.

The phone features a Snapdragon 855 processor and X50 5G modem from Qualcomm. It’s the first Galaxy A-Series phone that you can connect to a monitor or PC through Microsoft’s Your Phone or Samsung’s DeX.

As for the smartphone’s color options, it will be available in black and white designed with a geometric pattern seen on the back glass. The A90 5G will make its debut this coming Wednesday in Korea and will expand to markets in other countries. It is expected to roll out in Europe in October according to a Samsung’s announcement during its IFA press conference last Thursday.

The most exciting feature of the A90 would be its 5G network connectivity at an affordable price making super-fast wireless tech accessible to the public.

Samsung Europe’s product manager Nicole Ng says about the new device at the IFA press conference, “With its launch, we now have a full portfolio of 5G devices.”
