Guardian Early Learning has a range of exciting, resource-rich environments – including multiple enclosed outdoor areas, art ateliers and music and movement programs – children are encouraged to explore and learn.

The light-filled and open-plan centre also has luscious indoor gardens, a creek bed, a treehouse, sandpits, and natural play structures.

As the only inner-city childcare centre in Adelaide accepting children under 2.5-year-olds, their centre has a strong community, with many of their parents popping in on their breaks, or taking the children out to lunch to surrounding cafes.

Children get out and about on excursions, so they have a great connection with the surrounding community. They visit a variety of locations, including the Botanic Gardens, Rundle Mall, Adelaide Sustainability Centre, and the museum.

They are proud to have a culturally diverse team and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year.

Their on-site cook prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. To further explore food at the centre, their Educators host cooking classes for the children to get involved in to enhance their understanding of good nutrition.

Mackinnon Parade Children’s Centre Incorporated (MPCC) is located in North Adelaide next to the Parklands. Their quiet, leafy street provides us with one of the best locations in Adelaide for a children’s service.

They are perfectly located to gain sights of the Giraffes wandering around the zoo and can often hear the monkeys and lions talking to one another. The children love to hear this and so do they.
