Pop star Miley Cyrus fiercely speaks out addressing harassment that happened to her in Barcelona, Spain.

Last Sunday, a video surfaced on Twitter showing the 26-year-old singer making her way through a mob of fans. In front of her was her husband, 29-year-old actor, Liam Hemsworth.

As Cyrus was making her way towards a waiting vehicle, a man is seen aggressively grabbing her and forcing her into a kiss. The singer narrowly avoided the non-consensual kiss that the man was intending to plant. Security guards quickly stepped in and shoved the man away while Hemsworth reaches for his wife.

Now, the star has posted a Tweet in response to the harassment. Cyrus attached a video of both Inside Edition and The Talk discussing the incident. Along with the video, she wrote the message:

The pop star’s fiery message about consent has become viral on Twitter earning 94,777 retweets and 361,061 likes as of this writing.

A source reportedly told ET that the former Disney actress found the incident unsettling but she is now “doing fine”.
