The Pussycat Dolls on reuniting for the single “React”

It’s official, The Pussycat Dolls back in the music scene!

Lead vocalist Nicole Scherzinger and members Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, and Carmit Bachar finally dropped a new single after disbanding in 2010. The girl debuted their first song since going on a decade-long hiatus with the sultry track, “React.” Complete with a sexy music video, the single marks their highly-anticipated return.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, members of the all-girl group shared how they came to the decision of finally making a massive comeback. The women revealed that talks about a possible reunion started between them about two and a half years ago.

“It’s been so exciting. It just feels like we just snapped right back into it,” Sutta told the outlet. “Yeah, like no time has passed,” Roberts added.

While it was easy for the members to pick up where they left, Scherzinger noted that they have all “ëvolved so much” as individuals during their time apart.

“Even our mindset is a lot different,” she revealed saying that they are more focused about using their music as a platform to empower others. “We’re always talking about empowering others, but it’s really great to actually evolve into the women that we are and to be able to empower others out there.”

“We’ve each individually stepped into our own power,” she continued. “We can empower each other and that means we can empower our fans more.”

The girl group made an on-stage reunion back in the U.K. for the talent search, The X Factor. Their performance was greeted with wild enthusiasm by fans who clamored for more.
