With news of the Spice Girls getting back together for a reunion tour, it appears that other bands seem to be following suit. In some exciting news on Thursday, the Jonas Brothers announced that they are, in fact, getting back together.

The pop trio broke up in 2013, two days before a scheduled tour as a result of “deep rift in the band” due to “big disagreement over their music direction”. In the five years the group have been apart, each member has perused their own career; Nick is a solo artist, Joe performs with new band DNCE and Kevin has built a career in the real estate industry.

Despite their apparent artistic differences, the brothers have remained close and have also come a long way in their personal lives since 2013. Kevin (31) is married and a proud father of two, Nick (26) also recently got married and Joe (29) is now engaged.

The pop trio pleased fans when they officially announced their reunion on Instagram on Thursday. In the same post, the band also shared that they will be releasing a new song “sucker”.

The single is the singers first project in six years and is their first work with Republic Records. The single will be officially released on Friday 1^st and midnight. The group are yet to discuss if the single will appear on an album, which would follow their fourth studio record, 2009’s Lines, Vines and Trying Times.

The brothers are set to premier their song on stage during a week long take-over of The Late Late Show With James Corden. The show will air between Monday March 4^th and Thursday March 7^th.

It has been confirmed that Nick, Joe and Kevin will partake in interviews, sketches and songs, as well as a “Carpool Karaoke” segment.

The pop trio have teased their stint on the popular show by posting a clip of their “Carpool Karaoke” segment. The three brothers claim “We’re back!” in unison.

Aside from the fact that they are reuniting and will be releasing a new song, no one knows much about the Jonas Brothers future plans. But, it’s no secret that fans are excited about the prospect of a new album from the recently reunited band!
