Rihanna isn’t new to making rounds on social media, but now she has made history. Forbes hailed the recording artist, designer and beauty mogul The World’s Richest Female Musician.
An only 31 years old, Robyn Rihanna Fenty managed to amass an estimated $60 million in revenue by expanding her brand from music to beauty and lingerie.
The musician’s business empire is steadily growing since she started her own cosmetic company just nearly two years ago. Now, she’s not only known for her music but also for her incredibly successful brands, Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty.
According to Forbes, the cosmetics mogul made $100 million in revenue from Fenty Beauty sales after just a few weeks of launching the beauty brand. Her cosmetics made rounds on social media because the brand is built on inclusivity. Something that the industry’s market had been clamoring for.
As expected, Fenty Beauty products became an instant hit because of its broad inclusivity across all skin tones and shades. In fact, Rihanna continues to expand her Pro Filt’R foundation shade range and the people are loving it.
Rihanna’s brand of inclusivity continues to come across consumers through her Savage X Fenty Line. A partnership the singer made with TechStyle Fashion Group, an online fashion firm based in Los Angeles.
In the future, she won’t just be co-owning a clothing line. LVMH, co-owner for Fenty Beauty, announced that a Rihanna will have her own namesake clothing house, Fenty. LVMH is a luxury brand powerhouse run by Billionaire Bernard Arnault. The luxury fashion house also happens to own a famous brand that goes by the name Louis Vuitton.
With that being said it looks like Rihanna’s surge of fortune isn’t stopping any time soon.
