New music? Nah, Rihanna is releasing a “visual autobiography”

As Rihanna’s fans clamor for new music, the multihyphenate is hoping to stave off demands with a new book.

The Fenty Beauty founder is publishing a visual autobiography titled “Rihanna” because she need not say more. The book features the superstar’s life in photos starting from her humble beginnings in Barbados to the success she’s garnered at present.

The 500-page book contains over a thousand photographs, most of them have never been seen or published before. As a treat for fans, it includes a poster and multiple inserts and will come in its own black carrying case. See the book’s teaser in the clip released by Rihanna on YouTube below:

In a statement to Variety, Rihanna addressed news of her book saying:

“I am so excited to share this collection of incredible images. I’m very grateful to the talented photographers and artists who contributed. We’ve been working on the book for over five years and I’m really happy to be able to finally share it with everybody.”

“Rihanna” will hit the shelves on October 24 when fans can buy it for USD150. The book is published by Phaidon. Keith Fox, chief of Phaidon expressed their enthusiasm for the project in a statement saying:

“We are excited and proud to publish this incredible book by this extremely talented and influential woman. Rihanna is such an important and groundbreaking artist, style icon, and entrepreneur and we are looking forward to sharing her fascinating life with a larger audience.”

Just when you thought you’ve saved up for her next album, it looks like you’ll have to try again after buying this memento.
