Meghan Markle is Vogue’s latest guest editor for its British edition

Meghan Markle is returning to her editorial roots as a guest editor for the September 2019 British Vogue. This is exciting news for fans of the Duchess who admire her eye for style.

In case you don’t already know, the former actress is the founder and editor of the lifestyle website, The Tig. But since her debut into British royalty, Meghan had to say farewell to her site.

She didn’t have to bid farewell to the editorial world even with her website’s closure. One of the greatest honors in the fashion publication industry has been bestowed to her. Duchess Meghan is set to edit for British Vogue’s September 2019 issue, Us Weekly reports. And yes, it’s a pretty big deal.

Us Weekly reported from a source that the upcoming magazine issue will feature an opinion piece from the Duchess herself. Aside from herself, she’ll also be rounding up strong female figures to write for pieces for the issue. The source said that the Duchess is “bringing a selection of female change-makers on board to write their own personal essays.” This leaves us wondering, will her best friend and outspoken feminist Priyanka Chopra be in it?

The source continued to reveal that Meghan will pose for “new photos that haven’t been taken yet.” Hopefully, her royal husband Prince Harry and their baby Archie will have some involvement in the photo-op. It is reportedly set to take place in Frogmore Cottage.

It’s exciting how Meghan will bring her brand of creativity and outspokenness into the pages of British Vogue.
