Lady Gaga finally breaks her silence after breaking off her engagement to her talent agent Christian Carino. The singer briefly addressed the breakup during her Las Vegas concert last Sunday, June 2.
In a video posted by a fan on Twitter, Gaga is seen walking to her piano in a glittering gown. “Last time I sang this song, I had a ring on my finger, so it’ll be different this time,” the pop music icon told the audience. This was prior to performing the song ‘Someone to Watch Over Me’.
The audience assured the pop star that despite what she’s going through, they’re overflowing with love for her. Fans can be heard shouting “We love you!” in response to Gaga.
The performance was held at the Park MGM’s Park Theatre as part of her Piano and Jazz shows.
According to Ranker, Gaga and Carino started dating back in 2017. Gaga announced their engagement in October last year. Barely three months after announcing their engagement, the couple confirmed calling off the engagement in February this year.
Fans started becoming suspicious of their breakup when the ‘A Star is Born’ actress attended the 2019 Grammy awards alone. No engagement ring was in sight. Despite calling of their engagement, the pop sensation has kept photos of them on her Instagram account.
This was the second engagement that Gaga reportedly broke off. Prior to this, she was engaged to actor Taylor Kinney.
