Kim Kardashian admits she owes her career to Paris Hilton

Kim Kardashian-West is not about to snob the OG reality star who launched her into superstardom.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians released a promo clip las Sunday for the reality show’s 17th season. In the clip, sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian are discussing the former’s busy schedule. Kim reveals that she has signed on to appear in the music video of Paris Hilton’s ‘Best Friend’s A**’. The track is a song the hotel heiress released with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike last May.

Khloe responds by praising how it was “so sweet” that her long-time friend Paris wanted to include her in the project. Kim then went on to say that she’s grateful to Paris for giving her a career.

“I really would want to do anything for her,” Kim says of Paris. “She literally gave me a career. And I totally acknowledge that” the reality star adds. She then declares that she would even drop the annual Met Gala for the hotel heiress.

“It’s like, I’m trying to get everything done before the Met [Gala] and everything is done before the baby comes, but I would drop it for her because that’s important to me, to be loyal to people.”

Once upon a time, the Kardashian clan was far from reigning as the Queens of American reality TV. That title was held by Paris who starred in The Simple Life with Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. Paris and Kim have known each other from childhood and Kim even worked for her as an assistant.
