Khloe Kardashian’s highly publicized love life is making headlines once more. This time, her ex-boyfriend French Montana is opening up about their short but nonetheless “real” romance when they dated back in 2014.

The rapper is making a sudden re-emergence in celebrity news as he talks about his relationship with Chloe and the Kardashian clan. The pair only dated for about half a year from July to December of 2014.

French Montana was recently featured on the cover of Haute Living magazine. In the cover interview, he described his time with Khloe, saying:

“Me and Khloé are always going to be friends, and the family still remains close. I feel like we had a real dope relationship―there was no bad blood, nobody did something to somebody that we couldn’t come back from. The love was real.”

Montana added that he and Khloe will always have the same love for each other regarding their friendship. While the rapper acknowledges that it’s difficult to be friends with an ex-girlfriend, he says he’s glad they were able to retain their friendship.

The rapper’s endearing sentiments are now enough to pour cold water on rumors that the two are dating again. Back in April, Montana appeared as a guest in Kourtney Kardashian’s 40th birthday bash sparking rumors of he and Khloe getting back together.
With all that being said, it appears that he and the youngest Kardashian sister are strictly friends.
