Katharine McPhee is ecstatic to join husband David Foster’s “Hitman Tour”

The newlyweds are hitting the road. David Foster is going on tour and this time, he’ll have his new bride Katharine McPhee Foster join him.

The legendary singer will be touring various locations in North America for his “Hitman Tour” next year. The string of concerts will feature his wife as a special guest, as reported by People.

Foster released a statement to the outlet announcing the forthcoming tour. “I’m thrilled to be announcing a 2020 US tour and to be coming to cities I have never been to before,” the 69-year-old said. “This intimate show allows me to tell my story of my experience in the music business for the last 40 years. I bring along some of the greatest voices in the world, including the incredibly talented Katharine McPhee.”

The 16-time Grammy Award-winning musician will perform some of the greatest songs he penned for various musicians. This includes Because You Loved Me (Céline Dion), After The Love Is Gone (Earth Wind and Fire), and Home (Michael Bublé).

As for McPhee Foster, she’ll be performing songs from her five studio albums. In a statement to the entertainment news outlet, the American Idol alum shared her excitement over joining the tour. She said in the statement:

“I’m extremely proud to be featured on this tour and to sing some of the incredible songs he has written and produced. His live shows are thrilling so I’m really looking forward to it!”

The newlywed couple is having quite the year. Aside from finally tying the knot, the two attended the Toronto International Film Festival for Foster’s biopic, David Foster: Off the Record.
