Kim Kardashian celebrated her 39th birthday last Monday. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star shared clips of her birthday in her social media accounts and revealed that Kanye donated $1 million to charity on her behalf as a birthday present.
The reality star tweeted a picture of a certificate of donation that shows Kanye with their kids North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm donating a million dollars to criminal justice organizations Buried Alive Project, Cut 50, Equal Justice Initiative and Anti-Recidivism Coalition.
Kim also posted a selfie to her Instagram last Monday where she shared more details about her special day.
“Thank you so much for all of the birthday love!” the KKW Beauty mogul wrote. “I had the best most relaxing birthday ever! I Spent the weekend [with] my amazing friends in Palm Springs and then had a family dinner at my house tonight thrown by my mom and Kanye. My favorite Armenian restaurant Carousel came and catered and then was surprised with a beignet truck and churro stand!”
Kardashian-West’s celebrity family went on to social media to pay tribute to her and celebrate her birthday with their adoring fans.
Khloe, Kim’s sister dedicated a heartfelt and well thought-out message for her sister’s birthday:
“It’s your birthday @kimkardashian!!! There are so many wonderful things I wish people knew about you. There are SO many things, so I will only name a few. For all the years of your life, you have glowed from the inside out. There has always been a magnetic energy about you.”
“You’ve written your own set of rules, always with love,” the Good American magnate added. “You have forever had an immense amount of courage and faith that everything will always work out. But most importantly, you leave people better. You want everyone to be the best version of themselves. You leave people feeling empowered and full.”
Kylie Jenner on the other hand, shared a picture of the two of them from one of their popular makeup collaborations.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful big sister,” she captioned the post. “I’m so blessed to have you in my life!! Your love, guidance, selflessness and loyalty are unmatched ♥ i love you in this life and beyond!!”
PEOPLE reported that a source told them that the reality TV star enjoyed a discreet weekend in Palm Springs with her family and friends in celebrating her birthday.
The insider said that Kanye did not attend the celebration. The rapper is preparing for the release of his new album later this week and was in Jamaica this past weekend.
