Inside Henry Golding’s latest projects: The Inheritance & Harrington’s Greatest Hits

The breakthrough star of Crazy Rich Asians, Henry Golding, has an exciting future ahead of him.

The television host and actor launched Long House Productions in collaboration with the Starlight Cultural Entertainment Group from China. Variety reports that two feature films are currently in the works.

The first project under Golding’s Long House banner is entitled “The Inheritance.” The action and adventure feature is based on the original story by Golding and Alistair Hudson. The former will be starring in the feature while the latter will reportedly write the script.

Golding will also be the star and producer of another action feature “Harrington’s Greatest Hits”. Helming the film will be James Strong. The story will be from an original script by Dutch Southern. The thriller will center an assassin who finds out that his arms-dealing father is paying to have him killed. Exciting names are attached to produce the project including director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch along with Damian Jones and Kelly McCormick. Set to executive produce is Annie Marter with development financing from Great Point Media.

Starlight Cultural Entertainment Group is a firm based in Beverly Hills, California. The group has since gained notoriety from signing deals with James Wan (Aquaman), F. Gary Gray, Roland Emmerich and Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians).

Golding’s last film A Simple Favor with co-stars Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick left fans wanting more. Now, fans are getting what they asked for. The actor is set to star in the upcoming holiday romance Last Christmas and thriller The Gentleman. 20
