Fans Walked Out of Spice Girls Reunion Concert

Banking on nostalgia seems to be a pretty good fallback for stars of the 1990s and the Spice Girls are no stranger to this idea. When the Spice Girls announced their reunion back in 2018, fans were ecstatic. It seemed too good to be true. In fact, it apparently is.

First, there was the disappointing news that Victoria Beckham a.k.a Posh Spice wonā€™t be joining the reunion. (Way to leave a gaping void in our tween hearts!) And now, it seems that the world tour is on a rocky start.

When the Spice Girls reunion concert kicked off in Dublin, Ireland they left many disappointed as the show was plagued with audio issues. Fans took to social media to address the issue and many complained about the sound delays, feedback, and even not being able to hear our favorite 90ā€™s pop icons at all. What a bust.

Certain fans couldnā€™t help but just walk out right then and there, clearly frustrated about not getting what they paid for.

In Instagram story later that night, Mel B was the only member of the famous girl group to address what happened. Scary Spice thanked the fans who attended their show and went on to say ā€œWe will see you in Cardiff and hopefully the vocals and the sound will be much, much better.

The four women continued to with the set list of their greatest hits despite the audio problems.

Their reunion show in Dublin was first Spice Girls performance since they appeared in the Olympics closing ceremony back in 2012. The girl group will continue on to perform 12 more concerts in the United Kingdom. Hopefully, without any technical difficulties.
