Ariana Grande’s wax figure is making rounds for all the wrong reasons

Madame Tussauds just dropped their wax figure of Ariana Grande in London and her legion of fans are just not having it. While the pop music icon looks incredibly beautiful in real life, fans canā€™t say the same for her wax sculpture version.

The less than impressive wax figure was unveiled last week and will continue to be on display in London for five more weeks. If you havenā€™t seen it, we suggest not to bother going to see the actual thing. The wax statue wouldnā€™t even pass for a Grande impersonator without her signature high ponytail, knee-high boots, and an oversized sweater.

Since the unveiling, the people of Twitter have been sharing their two cents about how the figure looks nothing like Ari. One Twitter user claims the figure looks like the pop star if she were on crack. Another has gone as far as saying Ariana should take offense rather than be flattered by Madame Tussauds gesture.

This isnā€™t the first time Madame Tussauds came under fire for their botched waxwork of famous personalities. Remember Meghan Markleā€™s? If you donā€™t, letā€™s leave it that way.

Another major celebrity that Madame Tussauds have failed to give justice to is the Queen B herself, Beyonce. The New York Times reported that the famed wax museum had to make chances to Beyā€™s wax figure due to heavy criticism for the lack of likeness.

So should we expect Ariā€™s wax figure to undergo major changes as well? Amidst the backlash, we can only hope so. As of yet, Ariana Grande is too busy being her fabulous self to react to the issue.
