Emma Watson skips Little Women press tour, hangs out with Harry Potter cast instead

Emma Watson appears to be going back to her roots, ditching the Little Women press junket to hang out with her Harry Potter co-stars.

Page Six reported that the actress allegedly refused to join the promotion for her latest movie, Little Women. Watson’s representatives apparently told Sony Pictures that she will be joining her co-stars Meryl Streep, Saorise Ronan, Laura Dern, Timothee Chalamet, and Florence Pugh on the MoMa premiere.

This was a bit odd given that most of her castmates have been going hard at promoting their upcoming film and her absence has been widely accounted for where fans were left asking and speculating as to why the Harry Potter alum was absent.

Some have speculated that she might have had a falling off with the cast or one of the actors, others assumed that she just wanted to have a fun get-together with her Harry Potter castmates, which has some tangible evidence for this speculation.

Tom Felton posted a couple of photos of the Harry Potter cast (well, most of them anyway) on his Instagram with the caption ‘Seasons greetings from my schoolmates”. The actress also posted the photo on her own social media.

Besides Watson and Felton, Matt Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) were with the two as shown on the photos, creating a Gryffindor-Slytherin cocktail of nostalgic proportions.

Watson and Felton had been linked together that sparked dating rumors dating a few years back and have had a resurgence a couple months ago when the two were seen having a seemingly romantic time together. And you know what, Christmas is the most romantic time of the year (Sorry Valentines, no Bueno).

Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) added more fuel to the proverbial fire in his Entertainment Tonight interview back in November where he hinted that the two could actually be secretly a couple. The actor added that he always saw the two having a bit of a spark when it came to their chemistry.

Whatever the reason is, fans across the world have been treated to a nostalgic Harry Potter moment and an anticipated re-telling of a film classic. Little Women comes out December 25th, Christmas day.
