Elsa Pataky — the wife of Chris Hemsworth — doesn’t mind at all that she shares a matching tattoo with singer Miley Cyrus. Despite the highly-publicized divorce that Cyrus filed against her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, Pataky still remembers her bond with the singer fondly.

The Fast Five actress and the “Wrecking Ball” singer got matching ink back in 2016. Pataky looked back at the experience she shared in an interview with Vogue Australia for its February edition.

“I don’t regret any of them, they’re symbols and I love having them and it reminds me of those moments,” she said about the matter. The tattoos are small scribbles of ocean waves in black ink.

In the Vogue Australia interview, Pataky opted not to share details about Cyrus and her brother-in-law’s high-profile breakup. But she did have something to say about it to reporters back in November according to People. She shared that Hemsworth was left feeling “discouraged” after the split — a considerable reaction after Cyrus quickly found love in Kaitlynn Carter. But the pair was also involved in a high-profile breakup after the singer dumped the reality star and soon started dating Cody Simpson.

“My brother in law, well, after a relationship where he dedicated 10 years, he’s discouraged … but he’s taking it well,” Pataky previously said. “He’s a strong guy and he deserves the best. I think he deserves much more.”

“Family is always there to protect you. He and his brother are so close and he’s really been there for him to give him the strength he needs,” she added.
