Remember when Chace Crawford was the hottest hunk on television? Gossip Girl fans definitely do. Well, fans are in for a treat as the actor is totally “open” to reprise his character as Nate Archibald.

Although, the actor admits that he has no idea how it will work now that the cast is well in their 30s. Speaking to Digital Spy the actor said about a Gossip Girl reboot:

“I don’t know what it would look like with us being in our 30s now, but I always say, because it was such a big part of my life, I’m open to anything.”
Crawford also considered that to make it “right” the series will have to keep up with the times as streaming services take over. He says, “It would have to be really right, and really specific, and with TV and the golden age of the TV streaming service, maybe an eight-episode season.”

The actor also acknowledged that it would be very difficult to round up his former castmates due to their commitments and scheduling conflicts.

“It would be very tough to get everybody on board I think because of their schedules, Penn, Leighton, Ed … They’re all doing really good TV shows. It would be hard, I think [to get them all together].”

He is also open to a reboot featuring a whole new cast, as long as he’ll make a cameo that is. “The reboot might come in the form of new characters. I would absolutely cameo. I’d have to!”
