Another high-profile split is in our midst with Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk breaking up after dating since 2015.
People confirmed that Cooper, 44 and Shayk, 33, officially ended their relationship. The two are now reportedly focused on working their way through sharing custody of daughter Lea De Seine. They welcomed their 2-year-old daughter into the world back in March 21, 2017.
The Oscar-nominated actor and Russian supermodel dated for four years before officially calling it quits according to People’s insider.
The high-profile couple has managed to keep their relationship despite each others’ superstar status. Shayk told Glamour UK last February, “I have a lot of friends who share a lot of their personal life on Instagram or social media, very publicly. I admire it and I think it’s great – but I think it’s all about personal choice,”
“Because my work requires me to be out there, I just decided my personal life will be quiet. That’s why it’s called personal, because it’s something for you and your family, and I feel happy with it.”
In the same month, Cooper said told Oprah Winfrey during her SuperSoul Conversations that being a family man “changed everything”. The actor went on to say about her daughter:
“Our daughter, she’s incredible. And I see my father in her quite often. I can’t believe I’m gonna admit this, but I had moments when … I was in the room with her, I would say, ‘Dad?’”
The then-couple’s split came after a whirlwind of rumors claiming that their relationship had been “hanging by a thread”. The two reportedly broke up in amicable terms.
