Cascades Track

Cascades Track

Cascades Track provides a link to the network of tracks and fire trails in Wellington Park but it is also a good option for a walk in the bush close to the city, with or without your dog.

The vegetation along this track is quite diverse from open forest to fern-filled gullies. Keep your eyes open for wildlife, there are numerous wallaby runways that cross the track. A lovely arched stone bridge has been built at the first creek crossing to commemorate Peter Degraves, the founder of Cascade Brewery.

REVIEWS:

“Perfect place for picnic, bbq with friends and family. This place often booked out so better make a reservation through council and let them know which site number you like to book. Personally i love site 3, enough for 10-20 people, also there is a pond in front if it.” – Jefri Yang
