Every brand has a birth story! Can you share yours?
Started in 1974, Autosafe was the brainchild of Alan George Grace. He had left the Victorian government that year and was seeking to start a venture to keep all his 4 sons in one fold. He envisioned a family business that is powered by innovation and runs on a shared passion to excel.
He succeeded to a large extent, and Autosafe thrived under his son Ron from 1982-2020, and is in the able hands of third generation owners James Sam and Max (The Managing Director) at present.

We take the safety of your clients very seriously! Our products go through stringent safety and quality checks even before they reach the testing stage. They are tested in real time to ensure that they meet Australian safety standards. All our products are extensively tested to meet Australian standards, ADR requirements and other specialised regulations.

When it comes to your vehicle, no performance issue is too small. As they say, ‘a stitch in time saves 9,’ please look into fixing issues as soon as they arise. Regular preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing are the keys for long lasting performance.
How did the pandemic impact you? How did you tackle the negative effects?
Yes, Autosafe had quite a downturn initially. But, even then we were determined not to let go of any of our valued staff. They make us what we are today! After the first 2 months, we reached out to our suppliers, customers and stakeholders, and it paid big time. The upswing did not take long. The best part is that we ended up employing 16 additional personnel. This pandemic has taught us that all challenges in life are temporary!

Autosafe configurator is considered as an industry standard for vehicle accessory fit-outs and builds. We have evolved with time, and have updated the configurator to suit most new vehicle models in the market.
