Fans of the Netflix series The Ranch are distraught after Ashton Kutcher announced that its final season will be in 2020.
The 41-year-old actor turned to Twitter to make the announcement. In the Tweet he posted Kutcher wrote:
“@theranchnetflix is coming to an end, but not just yet. We’re excited to bring you the final 20 episodes — 10 streaming later this year (2019) on @netflix, and then 10 more in 2020. Stay tuned!”
Fans are relieved to know that Netflix will be releasing 20 more episodes of the show. However, some viewers couldn’t help but express their disappointment. One Twitter user even claimed that he’s canceling his subscription to Netflix as the show is coming to an end.

Some fans have mixed feelings as they can’t wait for the new episodes but are sad that the show won’t continue on.

In the show, Kutcher plays former football athlete Colt Bennett. The character returned home to his family’s Colorado ranch after his career in semi-pro football fails. He stars alongside Sam Elliott, Elisha Cuthbert and Dax Shepard.

Kutcher’s That 70’s show alum, Danny Masterson was part of the leading cast as Rooster Bennett. Netflix had to remove Masterson from the show after accusations of sexual assault surfaced against the actor. Shepard stepped in following his removal.
Since 2016, Kutcher has starred in the show about the comedically dysfunctional Bennett family is also the show’s executive producer.
