Anne Hathaway announces baby #2 on the way

Anne Hathaway and her husband Adam Shulman are expecting their second child together. The Hollywood star announced the big news on social media on Thursday.

Fans were surprised when Hathaway shared a black and white selfie on Instagram showing her growing baby bump. The actress wrote in the photo’s caption:
“It’s not for a movie…⁣⁣#2⁣.”

While she quipped in her pregnancy announcement, she also had a seriously endearing message for couples who are trying for a baby. Hathaway touched on her pregnancy journey, as she sent love to couples struggling to conceive. “⁣All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love 💕,” the actress wrote. See her post below:

The movie star welcomed her first child, Jonathan Rosebanks, back in March 2016. Not long after, reports surfaced that Hathaway desired to eventually expand her family with Shulman. “Anne wants more kids,” a source told E! News at the time. “She wanted to wait until Jonathan was a little older before they started trying again. She wants Jonathan to have a sibling.”
Hathaway made headlines when she decided to give up alcohol while her son grows up. She told Ellen DeGeneres earlier this year: “I’m gonna stop drinking while my son’s living in my house just because I don’t totally love the way I do it, and he’s getting to an age where he really does need me all the time in the mornings,”

“I did one school run one day where I dropped him off at school. I wasn’t driving, but I was hungover and that was enough for me, I didn’t love that.”
