But, to make it up for you all, Paulson teased that she will possibly appear on the 9th season of AHS. At the premiere of her new film ‘Abominable’ at the Toronto International Film Festival last Saturday, the actress spoke to Entertainment Tonight.

“I may pop up,” the actress coyly says. As for how she feels about skipping out on AHS: 1984, the actress describes it as “bittersweet.”

“It’s a little bittersweet because I have a lot of friends who are still on the show. So I’m getting updates about how it’s all going and what they’re doing, and I’m like, ‘Wait, what? You worked until two? Oh, I remember working until two on that show,'” she shares.

“And you never know, I may pop up. You never know. No promises though,” she adds.
Paulson decided to move on from the show following a slew of projects on her lap. The actress has appeared in all eight seasons of the show with notable roles such as Lana Winters, Cordelia Fox, and Bette and Dot Tattler. Paulson has garnered five Emmy nods for her performances throughout the series.
