Odell Beckham Jr. doesn’t find sexuality speculations “offensive”

NFL superstar Odell Beckham Jr. is speaking out on the speculation about his sexuality. The athlete says he never found it offensive that keeping his personal life private led some to question if he was gay.

Speaking to GQ, the football star shared he’d “never had an opportunity to talk” about sexuality speculations surrounding him

“Honestly wasn’t offended,” Beckham Jr. said, adding that he never had a problem “with anybody who has their own personal life that they live.”

“It’s like when someone gives me an ultimatum, I’m usually always going to go to the opposite way of what you want me to go,” he continued to tell the publication. “So when they would say that, I would almost mess with them even more. I have no problem with anyone’s sexual orientation.”

As for where the speculations about him being gay are stemming from, the athlete says it’s mostly from close-minded assumptions.

“Even like little videos where they see me leaned back or something, they’ll say that I’m looking at a guy’s ass. And I’m like, ‘Bro! You don’t even know where my mind is at.’ It was just a lose-lose,” he said to GQ.

Beckham Jr. went on to say the similar groundless accusations were applied to him when he’s with white women.

“They’d see me with a white woman and be like, ‘Why don’t you be with any sisters?’ I have no problem with any race,” he told GQ. “Love is love. If you’re attracted to somebody, you’re attracted to somebody.”
