Mariah Carey sets 2019 holiday concert tour

The songstress will be hitting the road once again with shows across the United States.

Mariah Carey’s Christmas record “Merry Christmas” will have its 25th debut anniversary this year. Now, the queen of yuletide music is celebrating with a holiday tour. The 49-year-old songstress limited engagement tour will be presented by the Hallmark Channel.

Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” tour is described as an “extravagant, festive outing.” The songstress is expected to belt out her greatest hits and yuletide favorites. The singer shared the big and exciting news on Instagram last Monday where she shared the tour’s poster along with the caption:

The tour will kick off on the 1st of November along with the re-release of Carey’s Merry Christmas deluxe anniversary edition that features two CDs. In addition, the new recording will drop exactly 25 years from the original 1994 album release. Unreleased live songs will come as a surprise for fans including rare remixes.

Las Vegas, Nevada will see the singer’s first five live concerts from the tour on November 22. All five of the shows will be held at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum.

By December, the extravagance will move to the east as Carey has scheduled tours for Atlantic City, Washington D.C., Uncasville, Boston and New York.

“All I Want for Christmas,” is recorded as one of the largest Christmas songs of all time since it came out in 1994. The Recording Industry Association of America recently gave the track a certified 6x platinum recognition.
