Golden Globes: An adorable Brad Pitt-Jen Aniston moment

It finally happened. The cute moment we’ve all been waiting for has gone down at the Golden Globes and we are here for it.

Apple TV’s The Morning Show star Jennifer Aniston was more than happy to show support for her ex-husband Brad Pitt at the 77th Golden Globe Awards. Aniston was all smiles and clapped for Pitt when he accepted the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture. The actor bagged the trophy for his role as stuntman Cliff Booth in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Listen to his speech below:

In his speech, Pitt thanked a number of names and gave a shout out to his parents who were in Missouri. “I want to say hi to my folks, because hey! They’re back in the Ozarks,” the 56-year-old actor said. He then made a joke about his dating life saying “I wanted to bring my mom, but I couldn’t, because anyone I stand next to, they say I’m dating.”

“It would just be awkward,” he added, as the audience — including Aniston — chuckled. The former couple was sitting a table away from each other at the event. See Aniston’s reaction to the joke below:

Aniston herself was given a nod under the Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama category. She lost the award to Olivia Coleman for her performance as Queen Elizabeth II in the third season of Netflix’s The Crown.

At the red carpet, Pitt mentioned Aniston during an interview with Entertainment Tonight and even referenced her show, Friends. “I’ll run into Jen, she’s a good friend. Yeah,” Pitt revealed.

“The second most important reunion of her year? I understand,” he quipped before adding, “That was a play on Friends. They were saying that.”
