Angelina Jolie is one of the more private figures in Hollywood. Many celebrities are comfortable with sharing parts of their personal life on social media while Jolie is known to be protective of hers. The actress keeps her personal life, along with her kids, as far away from the public eye as possible.

So when Jolie puts out content for the world to see everyone stops, watches and listens. In fact, her campaign for Mon Guerlain has already reached over a million views on YouTube. Now, as one of the most revered figures in the entertainment industry, Jolie is giving us a rare peek into her private life as a mother to six children on their way to adolescence.

“When your children are little you feel more ‘mommy,'” she says in an interview with Hello! Magazine. “When they are teenagers you start to remember yourself as a teenager. You see them going to punk clubs and you wonder why you can’t go. I’m in this fun moment where I’m rediscovering myself.”

Back in August, the mother of six dropped off her eldest son Maddox to attend a prestigious South Korean university. Fan footage of Jolie’s visit to the school showed her mingling with a group of people telling them she was trying not to be over-emotional about it.

“On Mother’s Day my children make me breakfast and pick me flowers—they treat me like a lady,” she says about her kids.
