At least, according to the influencer. Amanda Seyfried and an unidentified friend engaged in an Instagram callout session targeting influencer Arielle Charnas.

It started with Charnas posting a photo of bikini-clad body and then captioning it “Proud of my body after two kids.” See the post below:

Instagram users were quick to point out her “tone-deaf” post including Seyfried and her friend who posted a lengthy comment schooling Charnas about her seemingly insensitive post.

Seyfried then posted a screenshot of the comment and posted it on her own Instagram account. The comment pointed out the problematic aspects of Charnas’ post. This included her failure to acknowledge her wealth and privilege in achieving her post-baby body among others. While in the caption Seyfried wrote:

“F**k it- this is feed material. My very smart friend (again-not tagging) wrote this on a semi-influencer’s feed and she blocked both of us (even though I didn’t tag her-at least she’s getting the message).”

The actress raised that influencers have a responsibility to their followers.
“If we’re ready to get paid for flaunting our lifestyle (and inspiring some in the meantime) we have to be open to the discussions surrounding what we’re promoting. We have to back ourselves up- not run away from the issues it presents. There are gray areas everywhere. Each of us has a chance to back ourselves- especially on this platform.”

Seyfried concluded with a message for Charnas writing, “If you know who you are- take a second to decide if what you’re throwing out there is worth it- in the big picture.”

Charnas then responded in a now-expired Instagram story she’s being “bullied” and “punished because I’m thin.”
