Scrumptious lemonade scones recipe

  • 1/2 cup thickened cream (125ml)
  • 2 cups self-raising flour (300g)
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar (55g)
  • 1/2 cup lemonade (125ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • whipped cream for serving
  • lemon curd for serving


  • Preheat your oven to approximately 220°C and grease a baking tray.
  • Place your flour, salt and sugar into a large bowl.
  • Add in your cream and lemonade and stir it until it turns into soft dough.
  • Lightly flour your work bench and start kneading the mixture until it is fully combined.
  • Press the dough out evenly until it is approximately 2cm thick.
  • Use a round cutter to cut out 8 scones.
  • You can also re-roll the leftover dough to make additional scones.
  • Place them onto your tray and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve them warm with some whipped cream and lemon curd.
